Trailblazers

Students in Hamilton County can raft a world-class river with friends or students from other schools, canoe flat-water rivers, ponds or lakes, or participate in rock climbing around Hamilton County.  Other great adventures could be horseback riding, ropes courses, rappelling, or hiking.

Trailblazers is an adventure program focusing on teambuilding and providing healthy alternatives for youth to drug use. The participants will work together to set goals and respect each other’s right to choose their own challenges.  "Challenge by Choice" is the principle we practice so that youth are comfortable making their own choices and challenges.

Objectives: youth recognize personal strengths while emphasizing courage, truth, respect, responsibility and character. Trailblazers is about strengthening resilience and increasing resistance to alcohol, tobacco and other drug use.
